Here to help in the worst moments, and find a way to Celebrate the life you have lost
Planning a Funeral can make you feel like you are lost in a woods.

It can be an overwhelming and dark time in a moment of great sadness.

I can help.

I am a qualified Civil Funeral Celebrant, which means I am here to write and deliver the ceremony for your loved one, but also support you through the process of planning the funeral.
​
I am here to make sure your loved one's funeral is a beautiful, poignant, fitting farewell - perfectly in line with how you wish to celebrate their life, whilst honouring their wishes. ​

We're all different in life, with a special story all of our own.

Why should this be different in death?

I will tell the story of your loved one in a way that matches them, and feels fitting for their personality.

How does it work?
​
We will meet up somewhere comfortable, and with a nice cup of tea, and spend some time talking about your loved one.
​
This gives me the chance to get to know them a little through your eyes, and see what it was that made them so special to you.
​
I then write a ceremony that is completely bespoke to your loved one, whilst staying in touch with you the whole time.
No two ceremonies will ever be alike, and with your guidance, I will fill your loved ones send-off with moments of remembrance, symbolic gestures, funny stories, music or anything else you wish.
It truly is up to you.
That is how I guarantee they have a truly fitting farewell. ​​

What kind of Ceremony?
There are a few things I can help you with
Crematorium Ceremony - £250
What most people would consider a standard funeral in the UK.
I will do everything I can to make sure there is nothing "standard" about it.
After our meeting, I will plan and write this Ceremony, and then deliver it in the Crematorium.
Usually this will all go through the Funeral Director, so if you have found me first, have a chat with them and let them know you would like to use me.
Burial Ceremony, including Natural Burials - £250
After our meeting, I will plan and write this Ceremony, and then deliver it in the location of your choosing. This can be anywhere at all.
Following this, we will go to the graveside and I will speak some special, personal words designed to fit your loved one as they begin their rest.
Memorial Ceremonies - £250
This ceremony can stand alone if there is no funeral, or it can work in addition to a funeral.
After our meeting, I will plan and write this Ceremony, and then deliver it in the location of your choosing. This can be anywhere at all.
The structure of this ceremony can also be far more loose, with little or no time constraints, so this is a wonderful way to be very personal.
Scattering of Ashes - £100
Following the Cremation, we can hold a small ceremony with a few choice words to see your loved one to their final place of rest.
These are usually very short ceremonies, but as with all Celebrant lead events, this can be whatever you would like it to be.
Pre Need - £250 (payment in two halves)
​An opportunity to plan your funeral ceremony before you pass away, a pre-need consists of meetings and writing with the person for whom the funeral will be about, and then I will write a Ceremony based on those meetings. We will pass drafts back and forth until all are content.
It is important to ensure a loved one has my contact details and a copy of the ceremony, so that when the time comes they are able to get in touch and we can make sure the funeral happens just the way you want.
